In 1975, PSLA was known as the King County Labor Council Charites Division​ at the Labor Temple in Belltown and later named as the Puget Sound Labor Agency AFL-CIO.
Union Good Works is a group of unions at large that support PSLA as a reflection of how each union are giving back to the community.
